Sarah Larkworthy, Soprano
Sarah Larkworthy, Soprano, spent the 2019 summer with Seagle Music Colony where she performed the Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro. Additionally, she performed Micaela in La Tragédie de Carmen with Seagle Music Colony singers at the Lake George Music Festival. A native of McLean, Virginia, Sarah returned after completing her education and now studies and performs with the Potomac Vocal Institute in the Washington, DC area. In the 2019-2020 season, she will be participating in the Potomac Vocal Institute’s Rep Year professional development program.
Other recent engagements include Second Lady in Die Zauberflöte workshopped by the Potomac Vocal Institute, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni with Oberlin in Italy, and Belinda in Dido and Aeneas with Oberlin Conservatory
Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Music from Oberlin Conservatory in 2017. Summer training experiences included Bel Canto in Tuscany, OperaWorks, and the Redwoods Opera Workshop. Partial roles performed at these programs include Mimì in La bohème, Antonia in Les contes d'Hoffmann, and Susannah in Carlisle Floyd’s Susannah.
